Pastor Shaw served as senior pastor from 2005 until 2015. He has been given the title Pastor Emeritus which means retired with honor. Both he and his wife, Karen, are deeply loved and appreciated by the church. God greatly used him to strengthen the church through practical Bible preaching and an emphasis on prayer. They plan to stay in the church and serve wherever needed. He also plans to travel and encourage other pastors. He and his wife have three children and fifteen grandchildren.
