Does defeat cause you to call out to God? If we are honest, it certainly does. We can identify with the individuals in Psalm 44. They were in the midst of defeat that prompted they to cry out to God. Interestingly, remembering the stories of God’s marvelous works, that their fathers communicated to them, inspired them to call out to God from the midst of their defeat. Tonight, we will observe how that fathers have a long-reaching impact on the faith of the next generation.
