What are you hungry for? What cravings drive you? Is there a longing that seems to preoccupy your mind? Can you express in a word a desire that dominates your heart? There is so much that is trivial and temporary in life we can hunger after. Yet, Christ urges those of His kingdom to hunger and thirst after righteousness. We do well to pause and consider this simple yet powerful encouragement from our Savior’s heart.
Matthew 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
