Israel had around 613 commands they were responsible to obey. It was customary in that day for there to be discussions about which commandment was the greatest or most important. One day, a certain scribe stepped away from a discussion about this to ask Jesus His opinion on the matter. Jesus said that loving God was the greatest command and loving your neighbor as yourself was second to it. Let’s give our heart to consider this command so that we can love as God wants us to and love inside out.
