Jesus never intended the Christian life to be a schedule of empty religious ceremonies, a set of rituals and traditions, or an act we maintain. The Christian life is a relationship with Christ. If our hearts cannot be satisfied with Jesus, nothing else and no one else can. As water is to your thirsty body, so believing on Christ is to your spiritually thirsty soul. Do you remember the day you found Jesus to be the satisfaction of your soul? Jesus expects us to live out our relationship with Him in surrendered service in His name, the salvation of the lost, and the edification of the saints. He expects us to live inside out!
