We have all heard it said of the Christmas, “It is the most wonderful time of the year." If we could see behind the wreath decorated doors, the glistening trees in the front room windows and the beautifully wrapped gifts awaiting Christmas morning, a different perspective would likely be gained. We might find a middle age lady weeping over the betrayal of a broken relationship, a young man who has experienced yet another set back, a father full of worry because he can’t pay the bills yet again, a senior citizen struggling with depression or a young boy feeling rejection and worthlessness after his dad didn’t show up yet again. All around us, people are experiencing the hardness of life and often times the holidays accentuate that hardness. Is there hope? Is there help? Is there something you can do?
