One week before Jesus would conquer sin, death and hell through His bodily resurrection from the dead, He rode into Jerusalem on the colt of a donkey. This was the official presentation of Christ as the son of David. While Israel was longing for a conquering King to free them from the tyranny of Rome, Jesus presented Himself as one bringing peace. They did not realize that He was about to provide them eternal freedom from the tyranny of satan. Today we will consider the significance of the triumphal entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem and how it should impact us today.
