Jesus is in the court of the Gentiles. He often would go there to preach and to teach. On one particular day during the passover festivities, Jesus sat down and observed those who gave freewill offerings into the trumpet shaped offering receptacles. Jerusalem was buzzing with a swelling population of worshipers, many of whom would participate in giving. However, one caught the attention and commendation of Christ. We do well to emulate her!
