After strongly encouraging Timothy, Paul testifies of how he is ready to die and meet Jesus face to face. His testimony is strong and bold. It is not stated in arrogance but in confidence of having obeyed the promptings of the Holy Spirit of God throughout his Christian journey. Paul looked forward to being rewarded with the crown of righteousness. Like Paul, we should strive to be ready to meet our Savior.
